We’ve certainly had a burst out of water and into fire. If you’re reading this from any point in the world, I’m sure you’re aware of the turbulent American political landscape.

See, Astrology is a study of the energetics and patterns of the giants within our very sophisticated solar system. For as long as we’ve been observing these giants and their effects on us from the body to society, we have observed patterns. Those who are able to pattern weave and see within their working are Astrologists. Or perhaps I’d rather say, Cosmo Medicine Women & Men.

For the events of this very year have been felt before; within a pattern that Astrologists I’m sure, just as I, feel quite weary about. This Plutonian infused Aquarian energy. Just as the planet moves into the archetype of the collective and harbringer of great change, we are now feeling the seriousness of an American Pluto Return. Yes, the US has a birth point and that birth point places us within a return that is karmic, unforgiving, and validates the energetic sludge we attempt to move through day by day.

I feel so concerned and drawn out to the collective that it was a struggle to sit here and consider it’s “time to write horoscopes”… I don’t want to just write horoscopes. I want to tell you what I see. Another truth is that I enjoy so much to see and study in privacy that sharing can be a burden at times. As an Aquarius my solitude self, my teacher self, and my messenger self take shifts.

I digress, what is the NOW teaching us as our Sun moves into great summer visibility through the Archetype of the Lion - a depiction of power and possibility… heart and courageousness.

After now 2 full moons in Capricorn, opposing the Cancerian Sun, we may feel well over the wall. Literally on the other side of something within our lives. There was a sobering energy present with Saturn ruled sign and aneretic degree cycle closing. Now, we feel the steps that are needed for the second half of the year. The who what where when how and why of where we place our energy and not just that but, the energy adn investments needed towards our long term goals.

Of course, Capricorn and Saturn represent our masculine systems. Structures. Even the patriarchy. No surprise to have … political changes between these two full moons.
Within the self, this presents as foundational clearings that have you face to face with false stories, rules, and limitations to long term growth. Saturn is not a forgiving energy. It’s an enduring, suck it up, get it done the right way energy.

As our Sun shifts into Leo, we may seek and wonder of our joy. The inner child has needs, wishes, hopes. The adult wants to be recognized as well.

Leo naturally rules the 5th house within the Cosmo Medicine Wheel, which supports our uniqueness and ability to take action in our unique desires. To be seen, heard, felt, understood, recognized, supported, applauded… for our creativity. Our boldness. To taste life and be crowned by the Sun, our rightful spotlight.

Every Leo season we experience a Full Moon within its opposition; Aquarius.
Both signs lead from heart. Both signs honor authenticity. Both have immense creative vision. However, one is closer to the earth and its people than the other.
