It’s tough being born.
The surrender of the gestation period, the being carried-ness of Pisces, sweet surrender to the forces that we say are “greater than us” but, in truth, are what we are born from. The fire. The pop of the bubble. Arriving to surface. The cries of a baby as it comes earthside and troubled. Taken from the safety of the celestial womb into the human world. Within its skin suit. Given a name. A new identity. From spirit to flesh.
We have done this dance many times, like Shiva - from ash to sun, black to white, under to above, death to life.
And we have completed a journey, from March to March, Spring to Spring, Fires of life to the Waters of afterlife.
A humble beginning and a trumpet calls in the distance saying RISE. Rise into your Self. Rise into the new. A month that marks Spring, the time change (to be debated forever), Easter (a holiday of an archetype/sacred persons holy rebirth). I find myself in Portugal and amongst more Storks than I have ever experienced. Reminded of the storks significance, a harbinger of a new world, a new life, a rebirth, a birth. The fresh vulnerability of the beginning. I’ve seen the nest. The turbulent waters. And I’ve sat by the fire, as a blank canvas, poised for what is next.
While the Sun moved through Aries it activated the North Node, which will sit there like a church bell and lightning bolt asking us to boldly renew our personal contracts with this life; authenticity authenticity authenticity (of course, with Pluto in Aquarius for 21 yrs.…) and a time to continue to define what you desire for your Self in this world.
What will you do with this one precious life?
How can you rewrite the story within to alter the material world around you?
You are deserving of your hearts calling. And you are deserving to reclaim yourself from any shadow of how you come together with others (the Aries North Node and Libra South Node sing this story).
Mercury, our messenger and traveler has entered Aries and will ping a pattern with Chiron; it’s time to speak of the wounds of the self. Communication. Honest. Raw. Speaking in order to not hold. Speaking to break the bonds of the former life which have bound you or dragged behind like a heavy anchor. For me personally, I had a heavy anchor for years, and as I write this, that contract is done. I am freed. Did I do the work? Yes. Did it hurt? Yes. Am I free? Yes.
Ruled by Mars, Aries drags us out of the ocean to sit by a fire. Aries speaks of the great life you will live if you DARE. If you WILL. He lights a fire in your heart, filled with passion you feel inspired. You ask yourself, what is my fire, where is my life, how can I own my Self? Sitting by the fire with Aries you look around… Dried off and facing a god of courage, you say... why not, why can’t I…?
But maybe you don’t go out running just yet. Inspired but you have to exercise your sea legs. Suit up. Say goodbye to the deep dark waters and stare into the water instead, like a mirror. Decide. Choose.
